I often visit St. Jacobi's cemetery when I'm in Berlin. It's located in the district of Neukölln in the south of the city. On a recent trip, I took about 60 photos of the accessible and headstone-readable graves in the older part of the graveyard, which is about half the total number there. Many plots are large family graves, and some are actually vaults or crypts. The oldest burials are from 1852, but early graves are not well tended and are mostly covered over with vegetation. The gravestones bear very typical German names, but also some atypical ones. There is a small number of War Graves there.
